Luxury pool and jacuzzi at the retreat estate in Le Marche, Italy

A women-only creative retreat at a historic luxury manor in the hills of Le Marche — for the woman who builds extraordinary things and is finally ready to build something small and entirely her own.

Le Marche, Italy · June 24–30, 2027 · 10 Spots Maximum

You have spent years being excellent at everything that was asked of you. The meetings, the decisions, the deliverables — all of it handled, all of it done. And somewhere in the middle of all that doing, the part of you that wanted to make something just for the pleasure of making it got quietly set aside.

This retreat is for her. The woman who has always meant to work with her hands and simply never found the right week for it.

Omanit Flow is that week.

Women only · Hands busy, mind quiet · A week, for yourself

Le Marche

The kind of place that asks nothing of you except to breathe deeply and feel

Le Marche sits between the Apennines and the Adriatic — a region that has remained itself precisely because it was never overrun, where the medieval hilltowns, working farms, and centuries-old craft traditions have been left to the people who actually live among them, the ones who never needed to perform their heritage for anyone.

This is the Italy that rewards those who slow down enough to find it, who include it in their itinerary not as an afterthought but as a destination in its own right, who understand that the most extraordinary places are often the ones that ask you to arrive without expectations and let the place do the rest.

The land here is unique, mineral-rich and distinct, the kind of soil that has shaped what grows and what is made from it for centuries, the clay deposits that gave rise to the region's ceramics tradition still worked by the same families, in the same villages, in the same way.

The Property

A manor designed with love, in the heart of Le Marche

Set on four private hectares near Macerata, surrounded by more than 400 olive trees and with views of the Italian countryside rolling toward the horizon — this is not a hotel that happens to have a pool, it is a home that happens to be extraordinary.

The manor was designed by a husband-and-wife team whose obsession with interiors shows in every corner: considered, warm, and beautiful in the way that only happens when the people who built something actually love it. For anyone who finds herself drawn to art, craft, and the intelligence of beautiful spaces, this property is its own kind of encounter.

Seven bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a 20-metre pool, shaded terraces, a sauna and jacuzzi for the afternoons when the only agenda is warmth and stillness, a pergola built for long dinners that earn their length, and kitchen gardens that feed the table.

The Craft

Ceramics — from the clay that has always been here

The ceramics tradition of Le Marche is not decorative — it is geological, rooted in the specific mineral-rich clay deposits of this region, particularly the terracotta known as cocci di Fratte Rosa, a centuries-old craft tradition tied so completely to the local soil that it could only have come from here, from this particular ground, these particular hands.

The workshop is led by a women-owned ceramics studio based in Appignano — a village with an unbroken pottery tradition, whose artisans have practised this craft across generations, not as heritage performance but as living work, the kind that continues because it has always continued.

They bring the clay, the tools, the kiln knowledge, the patience; you bring your hands and three days of unhurried attention. All sessions are villa-based — no travel to a studio, no shared space with other groups, the artisan comes to you, and the rhythm of the work unfolds in the same courtyard where you eat your breakfast.

What you make is yours — imperfect, irreversible, fired and glazed and shipped to your door.

What the week holds

Every Omanit retreat follows a three-phase arc. The specific shape of each day is guided by the place, the artisan, and the season.

When we are not immersed in the regional craft, there is ample time to delight in the beauty of the surroundings — the estate, the landscape, and the quiet that comes when nowhere else needs your attention.

Arrival

Days 1–2

The first 48 hours ask nothing of you. Dinner together the first evening, a slow morning the second day. A walk through Montecassiano — one of Le Marche's finest preserved medieval hilltowns, fifteen minutes from the estate. The artisan arrives in the afternoon for a brief introduction to the week ahead. Private massages available to ease the last of the travel and the weight of the weeks before this one.

Immersion

Days 3–5

The heart of the retreat. Morning workshop sessions with the artisan — introduction to the clay, the first things formed, the work beginning to find its shape. Day 4 afternoon: a visit to the artisan's studio in Appignano, where the tradition lives in its original context.
Day 5 a full day excursion — an olive grove estate near San Severino Marche, a private vineyard lunch in the hills.

Integration

Days 6–7

A morning movement session — a guided walk through the estate grounds or yoga on the terrace. A final session with the artisan. An afternoon cooking class using local and seasonal ingredients, hands still in the work.
The closing dinner on Day 6 evening each woman shares one thing she is leaving behind and one thing she is taking with her.
Day 7 a late breakfast, a slow goodbye.

Questions

Things women ask before they say yes

Is this retreat only for women?
+
Yes. Omanit Flow is designed exclusively for women — a small group, never more than ten, selected for resonance rather than familiarity. Some women come alone. Some come with a friend. Both work equally well.
I've never done ceramics. Is this still for me?
+
Yes — and it may be more for you than for someone who already knows the craft. The artisan works with complete beginners, and the sessions are structured to let the work reveal itself at your pace. What she cannot provide is your presence. That part is yours to bring.
Will I meet the other women before the retreat?
+
Yes. Once your place is confirmed, you will be added to a WhatsApp group with the full cohort — a space to introduce yourself, ask questions, and begin to get a sense of the women you will spend the week with. For those in different time zones or locations, an optional group Zoom can be arranged before departure.
How do I get to Le Marche from the US?
+
The nearest airport is Ancona Falconara (AOI), served by connecting flights from Rome Fiumicino (FCO). Most US guests fly into Rome on a direct transatlantic flight and connect to Ancona — the connection is straightforward and the flight is approximately one hour. Group ground transfers from Ancona Airport to the estate are included in your investment at pre-arranged times. Full travel guidance is provided in your digital pre-arrival dossier.
What does the investment actually cover?
+
Everything except your flights, travel insurance, and personal spending on day trips. Six nights at the estate, all meals, three days of workshop sessions with all materials included, firing and shipping of your finished work, day excursions, a cooking session, optional movement sessions, group transfers from Ancona Airport, and all gratuities. Nothing is hidden.
What is the cancellation policy?
+
Your investment is non-refundable upon confirmation. We know that's a significant commitment — which is why travel insurance is a required booking condition, covering you in the event of genuine emergency. Full terms are confirmed at registration.
